"I can say with the upmost genuine honesty that I don’t even know where to begin. Let me give you a quick back story…I got married during the pandemic (September 5th), and with less than 4 months to plan. From the first call, Mike eased my panicked state and took on the challenge no questions asked. What I quickly discovered was that Mike was not only an extremely talented photographer (which is why I called him in the first place), but literally a wedding planner. This man knows the Sudbury wedding network better than anyone, and recommended and helped us find vendors who fit our needs perfectly. He met with us countless times, he met with our vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page, he went to both the ceremony and reception locations in advance to ensure that all details were being considered and addressed (while also scoping out photo opportunities)…I am telling you…he does it all.

He is also unbelievably kind, personable and approachable. He was always available to support and problem solve during every stage (and let me tell you…that was huge in and of itself). He created the itinerary for the day to ensure that everything that was important to us got accomplished (including all of the photos that we wanted to make sure were captured). When things, which were out of our control, derailed the schedule, he quickly adapted it in the moment while also keeping us (me) unbelievably calm. When it started to rain during my outdoor ceremony, to no surprise and without skipping a beat, Mike equipped every single person with umbrellas that he had personally brought (which matched and made gorgeous photos to boot).

He honestly thought of everything and was prepared for everything. I realize that I have spent this entire review raving about Mike as a person, but regarding the main reason we hired him, the photos are absolutely mindblowing. The attention to detail in the editing is perfection, and his creative and artistic eye is second to none and results in photos that don’t look like every other quintessential engagement and wedding photo.

Our album is now filled with an engagement shoot like no other, including paddle boarding drone shots and gorgeous campfire moments taken at our family cottage, followed by wedding shots that include beautifully dewy fields and forest settings, as well as the absolute coolest brewery shots amongst the perfectly lit beer tanks. The memories in these photos encompass myself and my husband in a way that is so incredibly special. I have never heard so many compliments on photos. Honestly…check out his work and you will see what I am talking about.

Mike doesn’t need this review. His talent, his work, and his reputation speaks for itself. But I would be doing a disservice to not highlight how spectacular this man is. If you have the honor of having him as a part of your big day, you will not regret it for a second. Best phone call I could have made.
